A life-long resident of Roxbury and Washington I grew up around real estate with my dad, Edward, who established Tierney Realty in the early 1960's. His honesty and commitment to clients and the community are legendary over the 40 plus years he owned the firm. He has been a wonderful role model for me. He also had his own construction company which gave me the opportunity to buy, renovate and sell several homes with him. It was a thorough and extensive education from which I, and by extension, my clients have benefited.

After fulfilling a 20 year career in the United States Merchant Marines I joined his company in 1998 as a real estate salesman and I received my broker's license in 2002. I am a member of the Fairfield County and Litchfield County Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Connecticut Association of Realtors. I have been recognized by Connecticut Magazine as a Five Star Realtor every year since 2010 for delivering exceptional service to my clients. I have been a member of the Washington Lions Club for the last 16 years and my hobbies include renovation and interior design with my wife Christine. I also enjoy reading and learning the extensive history of Washington, Roxbury and the surrounding communities.
