Born and raised in Connecticut, I have traveled the world and have lived abroad. My years in Europe and Asia afforded me the unique opportunity to understand other cultures and appreciate their treasures. Nonetheless, the northwest hills of our beautiful state beckoned me to return and this is where I settled with my family.

Here, I have put down roots in the community. I serve on the Board of Directors at Seven Angels Theatre whose mission is to support professional regional theater. I sit on the Board of Directors for the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation which serves our local community. I am a long time member and sustainer of the Junior League of Women. Additionally, each year I host a book signing for a local Connecticut author.
