Locals know this charming colonial with Greek Revival features as The John Beach House. In 1821, a farmer named Luman Hamlin received the land, "Twin Brooks," from his sea captain father. Luman built the house on it using lumber from the property and indigenous boulders for the stonewalls along the land's perimeter. Luman farmed Twin Brooks for years.
